  • Requiring an officer, an employee, an agent, or a contractor of the State or a political

    subdivision to deny inspection by a federal agency seeking access for certain immigration enforcement matters of a public record that contains personal information or certain photographic images unless a valid warrant is provided; prohibiting certain persons from disclosing certain information to a federal agent or a federal agency under certain circumstances; requiring a certain annual report to the General Assembly; etc.

  • Repealing the Law Enforcement Officers; Bill of Rights; prohibiting a police officer from preventing a citizen from recording the officer's actions if the citizen is otherwise acting lawfully and safely; establishing the Maryland Loan Assistance Repayment Program for Police Officers and the Maryland Police Officers Scholarship Program; requiring the Police Training and Standards Commission to take certain actions in response to violations of a certain Use of Force Statute; requiring each county to have a police accountability board; etc.

  • Requiring the State to reduce statewide greenhouse gas emissions by altering statewide greenhouse gas emissions goals, establishing of a net-zero statewide greenhouse gas emissions goal, developing certain energy efficiency and emissions reduction requirements for certain buildings, requiring electric companies to increase their annual incremental gross energy savings, establishing certain zero-emission vehicle requirements for the State fleet, and establishing an electric school bus pilot program; etc

  • Establishing the Abortion Care Clinical Training Program in the Maryland Department of Health to ensure that there are a sufficient number of health professionals to provide abortion care; establishing the Abortion Care Clinical Training Program Fund; establishing certain requirements regarding abortion services, including provision and coverage requirements, for the Maryland Medical Assistance Program and certain insurers; requiring the Governor to include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of $3,500,000 to the Program; etc

  • Proposing an amendment to the Maryland Constitution to establish that every person, as a central component of the individual's rights to liberty and equality, has the fundamental right to reproductive liberty; prohibiting the State from directly or indirectly denying, burdening, or abridging the right unless justified by a compelling State interest achieved by the least restrictive means; and submitting the amendment to the qualified voters of the State at the next general election to be held in November 2022.

  • Requiring the Maryland Medical Assistance Program to provide comprehensive medical care and other health care services to noncitizen pregnant women who would qualify for the Program but for their immigration status and their children up to the age of 1 year.
